Huge Open World

The game takes place on a planet named The Dead Desert. Named such that no one could find a name expressive enough that matched how uninviting and how horrible the planet can be.

Stumble across large civilizations all struggling to find their footing on a desert planet.

Decide what paths you take early on and ignore or follow whatever quest peaks your interest. We have worked hard to ensure we do not have to hold your hand except for when it's important!

Dynamic Changes will occur over time, this means that one faction may eventually side with another faction. You can influence these changes or see them unfold the more you play. This can lead to some really interesting changes that even the developers have never experienced.

Not just violence...

Although the game has a vast array of weaponry and armour to choose from, we are handcrafting a large open world with many different ways to solve the problems you face.

Want to recruit a bunch of desert cats to fight for you? It's completely possible, by choosing traits and abilities that synergize to controlling and manipulating animals. Just make sure you take enough kibble!

Prefer to solo it and try your hand at engineering? You can bring along your trusty turret and place it anywhere in the world. Watch out though, the local inhabitants may not take kindly to that sort of behaviour.

...But there is still violence

Shotgun, spears, sticks, we got weapons... But what about REAL weapons huh?

We've been adding in Nano Tech weapons, creature based weapons all with unique abilities and effects, each more interesting than the last. Some weapons may be biotic in nature coming from a creature you just transmuted, or as a rare reward for completing a mysterious quest.

Aaaaand theres blood... Lot's of it... Infact there is so much we had to add a disable blood option right in the settings menu.

Timeline before the player is printed and incubated

Yr. Event
3750 The galaxy is no longer an unreachable void, now it is a playground for mankind. Humans have been mining asteroids and colonizing nearby planets for the last 500 years. Earth is made up of 3 leading nations: The Anglo from the west, The Sino from the east, and The Independants. Earth is mostly a peaceful place, with wars only taking place between private organizations across the solar system over planet claims. SinCorp is the largest company in the solar system, making profits from life-extending drugs such as ExtendYoLyf. Through the "battle of the balance books", SinCorp became the dominant global force on Earth, ensuring the cooperation of the 3 nations and encouraging diversity across its people and products.
3800 Cloning humans is perfected by SinCorp when they develop a formula based on ExtendYoLyf called Mulch, which is used to create the clones. They announce plans to begin a mass colonization effort across the galaxy using this new technology.
3805 Just 5 years after perfecting cloning technology, SinCorp sends out over a thousand colony ships far into space, stocked with ExtendYoLyf and humans known as 'Founders' from the 3 leading nations, equipped with the technology to create servient clones.
3900 The Zhuding-7 colony ship, 100 years into its 200 light-year trip, experiences a loss of ship captain AI and communication with Earth due to dark-space corruption. Xalex Wang, born during the trip and son of one of the founders, steps up to calm the crew and arrange for manual intervention in the ship's controls. Wang is successful in bringing the ship into manual control and decides to continue toward the targeted planet, earning the nickname 'Captain.'
4000 The Zhuding-7 colony ship lands on its targeted planet. The atmosphere is dusty yet breathable, and the land appears barren and devoid of life at first.
4010 Within 10 years of colonizing, the first 100 clones are created. Several clones failed to form fully, but the remaining clones begin working on eco projects to make food supplies sustainable.
4050 The colony begins to grow its clone production, but for every clone created, a failed clone is discarded. The issue of clone failure is never addressed.
4052 With growing tensions and the acts of a few failed clones, more clones begin defecting and leaving the corporation, resulting in bandit camps near the landing zone, which by this point has become a minor clone-city nicknamed 'Landzo.'
4060 Many of the eco projects fail, and food supplies in the colony begin to dwindle. Most clones and even the founders are left eating Mulch, the formula used to create clones.
4075 Following concerns with SinCorp's lack of diligence and corruption, a founder named Kenshin Yamakai defects and sets up a new eco-research station in the northeast. Asuna Li, the daughter of Captain Wang, later joins Yamakai in hopes of developing a way to communicate with Earth, an obsession she has had since childhood.
4078 Yamakai's followers are successful in creating their own small eden on the planet, but Asuna's requests for more efforts in communicating with Earth are ignored.
4080 Asuna Li leaves Yamakai after her attempts to divert research efforts from eco projects to communication projects fail. She takes with her stolen cloning technology and two clones for protection. Asuna sets up a research camp in the west and begins producing clones for her communication efforts. The camp regularly steals from SinCorp and has been dubbed 'The Dusters' by SinCorp. All Dusters are wanted by SinCorp for stealing technology.
4100 Clone (player) is born from incubation.
